The Mugen Story

Founded in 2023, Mugen Customs was created to challenge the visual boundaries of the simple canvas that is everyday clothing within the confines of XIV's framework. What started out as simple hoodie customisation grew to become a service that everyone can enjoy together.With over 17 years of graphic design experience alongside real-world creative direction for a Japanese streetwear channel on YouTube, Akira strives to help people express themselves with the love of fashion and graphic design.Mugen (無限) means "limitless", as streetwear basics such as sweaters and hoodies can seem so simple, yet hold so much potential for customisation.

Why custom?

You can now own something that is unique to you, your character, and your personality. We are the most accessible gil-only Dark Arts clothing service on Elemental, as we work off existing base meshes made by other creators for free edit use.Provide a reference from something that exists in real life, or get Akira to make something fresh based off a concept - the limit does not exist. We also occasionally release limited-time graphics as special projects.

What is the broken hearts society?

Broken Hearts Society (BHS) is Mugen's in-house label focusing on Akira's experimental work. The idea behind the name is simple - we are all not without our scars and cracks. These imperfections are to be celebrated, as well as catalysts for our own growth. BHS is for everyone - single, taken, and everything else in-between.

For Broken Heart Society's first piece, we begin with a reminder that no matter how life kicks us down, we find the courage to stand back up again. What sits within your Warrior of Light is a heart that beats.
